The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) program at Detachment 90 gives students attending Colorado State University, the University of Northern Colorado, Front Range Community College, and Aims Community College the opportunity to commission as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force upon graduation. Recognized as one of the top AFROTC Detachments in the Country, Detachment 90 was awarded “Best Large Detachment in the Nation” in both 2019 and 2021. While pursuing academic degrees, AFROTC cadets are provided one-on-one counseling and various opportunities to explore the multitude of career paths available in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force as they develop the skills to be resilient, team-minded leaders, ready serve America’s Next Greatest Generation.
